Did you know that most people don't own a microscope?  Tragic, I know.  I'm guessing your high school or college biology courses (if you were so fortunate as to take one) didn't let you go beyond the scope of the course with their equipment, so this is a playground of various things we see on a day-to-day basis with considerable magnification.  If there is something you want to see under a microscope, post it in the comments and I'll take the best recommendations.

I am not sure whether I will add to this on a periodic basis or if I'll create new pages for each group, but I have to start somewhere.  So without further ado:

Cats are some pretty awesome predators.  Their claws allow them to get serious grip on their prey, and they keep them sharp by essentially peeling off the dull outer layers (like peeling an onion).  As a result, families with cats will occasionally find claws on the ground near where the cats claw or groom (in my case, this is from one of their cat trees).

Everybody has hair fall out at some point.  As a matter of fact, I expect most of my own hair to fall out by my mid-40's, thanks to my genetics.  Here is a small hair from my beard, however:

If you own a tablet or smartphone, the quality of the display was probably important in your purchase.  However, the way that work is given little mind.  So here is my Nvidia Shield Tablet (the best Android tablet you can buy right now, by the way) displaying various colors.
A shade of gray.  Not 50 of them.
